Battlestate Games eyes collaborations for Escape from Tarkov
Escape from Tarkov developer open to cross-game collaborations, CEO says

Battlestate Games is exploring the possibility of collaborations involving its shooter Escape from Tarkov. The company’s head, Nikita Buyanov, announced the idea on the social platform X, saying the studio is interested in joint projects but has not settled on any concrete plans yet.

Buyanov clarified that while the team is curious about potential crossovers, they have not specified the direction such collaborations would take. It remains unclear whether Battlestate would introduce third‑party content into Escape from Tarkov or allow Tarkov elements to appear inside other games. He invited the community to propose titles and partnership ideas that they think would work best.

Escape from Tarkov spent several years in early access beginning in 2017 before receiving a full release on November 15, 2025. The game’s long development and support cycle have made such crossover possibilities of particular interest to its large player base.

The developers have previously outlined their support plans for the year following release and revealed details about an upcoming DLC, signaling ongoing post‑launch content and a willingness to expand the franchise through additional updates and collaborations.

No specific partners or projects have been announced so far; Battlestate’s statements remain exploratory, and fans have been encouraged to suggest which games might make the most compelling crossovers with Escape from Tarkov.
