Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, the offlaner for Team Spirit, spoke about the team’s current condition and prospects at the FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 tournament. He reflected on how the roster is performing while using a substitute and shared his views on which teams look strongest in the present meta.
Collapse said that, despite competing with a stand-in, the squad is in solid shape. He noted that each player is putting in a lot of effort and that the team feels to be in good, optimal form overall.
When asked which organization seems to be best adapted to the current patch, Collapse singled out Tundra as an especially strong side. He praised their understanding of the patch and the meta, saying they come prepared with plans and adapt well. He also added that, to his knowledge, Tundra is not participating in this particular event, and predicted that other teams will continue to find their rhythm as the tournament progresses.
On December 31, Team Spirit will face Aurora Gaming for a place in the grand final; the match is scheduled to begin at 19:00 MSK. Team Spirit is competing at the event with a replacement player: Marat “Mirele” Gazetdinov is filling in for Denis “Larl” Sigitov in the starting lineup.
