Nicolai “device” Reedtz, the Danish Counter-Strike 2 professional who has joined 100 Thieves, has spoken publicly about his transfer to the new organization. The veteran rifler said he is motivated to make the most of this opportunity and intends to deliver strong performances for his new team.
In his statement Reedtz described the move as an intriguing new chapter in his career. He emphasized that there is a lot of work ahead, expressed eagerness to get started, and promised to work hard to earn the trust of fans and teammates. He asked supporters to judge the results by the team’s play on server and thanked everyone for their support.
Before signing with 100 Thieves, Reedtz competed for Astralis. He departed Astralis in December 2025. The rebuilt 100 Thieves roster is expected to make its first appearance in the open qualifiers for IEM Atlanta 2026, which take place in February 2026.
100 Thieves currently do not possess any VRS points, meaning the squad will need to accumulate ranking points by performing in qualifiers and online tournaments. That task will be important both for securing slots at major events and for building competitive momentum as the new lineup seeks to establish cohesion and results.
