Disney+ is developing a live-action dramatic series focused on the fairy Tinker Bell from the Peter Pan universe, according to a report by Variety. The streamer has greenlit the project under the working title Tink and has the series in development through its drama unit. Details about the story direction, episode count or a release timeline have not been disclosed.

The title Tink is not new: in 2010 a Tink project was announced as a romantic comedy that was to star Elizabeth Banks (credited for works such as The Clinic and Three Days to Escape), and in 2015 another iteration was reported with Reese Witherspoon attached (known for titles including Legally Blonde and Cruel Intentions). The current incarnation differs in being developed within Disney+'s dramatic division; beyond the project name and the studio involvement, no information about the creative team or casting has been released.

Tinker Bell last appeared on the big screen in the 2023 film Peter Pan & Wendy, in which the role was played by Yara Shahidi (whose credits have included titles such as Lie to Me and Unthinkable). That 2023 adaptation received mixed-to-negative audience scores, registering a 4.4 out of 10 average on IMDb and a 4.8 out of 10 average on the Russian site Kinopoisk. Disney+ has not yet commented on the new series or provided a timeline for further announcements.
