Disney Branded Television orders a third full-length Phineas and Ferb movie; production to start in 2026

Disney Branded Television has commissioned a third full-length animated feature in the Phineas and Ferb franchise, according to Variety.

Production is slated to begin in 2026, though an official release date has not been announced. The new film is expected to premiere on the Disney+ streaming service and air on the Disney Channel.

The plot centers on another of Dr. Doofenshmirtz's time-related experiments, which erases the moment Phineas and Ferb's parents first meet; the protagonists must repair the disrupted timeline.

The original Phineas and Ferb series aired from 2008 to 2015 and received positive audience ratings, including an 8.1 out of 10 on IMDb and a 7.7 out of 10 on Kinopoisk. A continuation was announced in 2023 with a 40-episode order, and that revival premiered on June 5, 2025.
