Epic Games Store is offering Total War: Three Kingdoms for free until January 8; weekly giveaways resume after the holiday period

Epic Games Store has launched a giveaway for Total War: Three Kingdoms. Players can add the game to their personal libraries at no cost until January 8 at 19:00 Moscow time (MSK).

Total War: Three Kingdoms is a historical strategy game set in the second century AD. Players take on the challenge of unifying ancient China, navigating the internecine conflicts and power struggles between the states of Wei, Wu and Shu to restore order to the realm.

The free copy of Total War: Three Kingdoms is not available to users in Russia. The regional restriction is linked to the publisher SEGA having withdrawn from the Russian market.

Alongside this installment of the Total War series, Epic also offered Wildgate — a space-set multiplayer PvPvE shooter. Unlike the Total War title, Wildgate is accessible to users in Russia.

Epic’s intense schedule of daily giveaways that ran during the pre-New Year week has ended. Going forward, the store will return to its standard rhythm of weekly free titles, with the list of promotional games typically updated on Thursdays.
