EWC Foundation Opens Applications to Partner with Nations for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Offering Access to $20M Development Fund

EWC Foundation, the organizer behind the Esports World Cup series, has begun a search for partners to take part in the Esports Nations Cup 2026. The organisation announced the initiative on the championship's official channels as it prepares to assemble national delegations for the tournament.

The Esports Nations Cup is scheduled for November 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. To support the event, EWC Foundation has started accepting applications from prospective partners who will be responsible for securing and managing their country’s participation. These partner entities will be tasked with forming and coordinating national teams, liaising with game publishers involved in the competition, and promoting their teams through marketing and public relations efforts. Each national grouping will be led by a designated manager who will serve as the primary contact between the teams and EWC Foundation.

Eligible partners include esports organisations, clubs, agencies, non-profit groups, national esports federations or associations, and content creators. According to the organiser’s timeline, the first group of selected partners will be announced in March 2026.

EWC Foundation highlighted specific advantages for partners joining the Esports Nations Cup 2026. National delegations will gain access to an ENC development fund with a total budget of $20 million, intended to cover logistics and accommodation costs for participating teams. In addition to financial support for travel and housing, partners will receive formal backing from the event organisers and a suite of other benefits designed to facilitate their teams’ preparation and participation.

The recruitment drive is part of EWC Foundation’s broader preparations for the Esports Nations Cup and the wider Esports World Cup programme. By delegating national coordination to vetted partners, organisers aim to streamline team management, strengthen cooperation with publishers and stakeholders, and ensure professional promotion and delivery of the championship next November.
