FlyQuest RED have confirmed that Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie has stepped down from their active roster with immediate effect. The organization cited her relocation to Europe as the reason for the departure, bringing to an end her time as the team’s in-game leader.
"Hard to put into words for what was such a long time under the red banner. I’ve met a lot of awesome people along the way. Being a leader has taught me a lot and helped me become someone I’m proud of," GooseBreeder said in a statement announcing her exit.
She added that she plans to take some time to relax and reflect as she determines her next steps in and out of the scene.
Dobie, 30, joined FlyQuest RED in 2023 and spent multiple seasons with the team at ESL Impact Finals, appearing at six Finals in total. The squad’s best result during her tenure came in Season 3, when FlyQuest RED finished in the 3rd–4th place range.
Over the course of her time with the organization GooseBreeder recorded an average rating of 1.13, a mark that came as the roster established itself as a dominant force on the North American female circuit.
With GooseBreeder’s departure, FlyQuest RED’s current roster consists of Emma "Emy" Choe (United States), Vivienne "BiBiAhn" Quach (Australia), Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon (United States), and Marie "marie" Ellen Toft Sørensen (Denmark). The team is coached by Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman (United States).
