FURIA advance to the upper-bracket semi-final after a 2-0 win over TYLOO at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 (Mirage 13-8, Overpass 13-11)

Day one of the BLAST Open Rotterdam group stage concluded with FURIA edging past TYLOO in a two-map contest, winning 2-0. The Brazilian side took Mirage 13-8 before closing out the series on Overpass with a 13-11 victory.

Despite a light-hearted comment from Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo on social media about their problems in late-game situations, FURIA steadied themselves when it mattered and secured a spot in the upper-bracket semi-final, eliminating the Chinese squad from the winner’s path.

With the result, FURIA will next face Aurora in the upper bracket. TYLOO drops into the lower bracket and is slated to meet FaZe. According to the event schedule, the FaZe vs TYLOO match is listed for 20 March 2026 at 14:30, while Aurora vs FURIA is scheduled later that day at 19:30 as part of the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 program.

The first map, Mirage, began with a slow offensive showing from TYLOO but they managed to claw their way back into the game and reduced the deficit to 7-9 at one point. A pivotal moment arrived at 10-7 when FalleN produced a sharp double kill that disrupted TYLOO’s momentum and helped FURIA run away to a 13-8 finish.

Overpass proved far more contested. TYLOO got a major boost early when Su 'Zero' Jingshen landed a pistol-round ace, an opening that helped TYLOO seize the lead at 9-8. The map saw a string of high-intensity rounds and clutch attempts from both sides, but FURIA ultimately halted Zero’s late-round heroics to force overtime-less regulation and seal the map 13-11.

Key individual plays shaped the series. KSCERATO converted a critical 1v2 to extend rounds for FURIA, FalleN denied an ace clutch attempt from TYLOO’s Jee in a decisive moment, and Jee himself produced an all-headshot 1v3 in another round that kept TYLOO alive during the match. Those sequences underlined the narrow margins that decided several rounds across both maps.

The match was officially played on 18 March 2026 as a best-of-three encounter. FURIA won the matchup 2-0; the map scores read Mirage 13-8 and Overpass 13-11, confirming their progression in the tournament bracket.

Several FURIA players posted strong numbers across the two maps. Kaike 'KSCERATO' Cerato led the team with a 36-23 K-D, an ADR of 79.1, KAST of 84.4% and a rating of 1.36. FalleN finished 34-28 with an ADR of 79.3, KAST 86.7% and a 1.29 rating. Yuri 'yuurih' Santos went 32-27, ADR 85.0, KAST 71.1% and a 1.06 rating. Mareks 'YEKINDAR' Gaļinskis ended 34-29 with ADR 82.8, KAST 73.3% and a 1.05 rating, while Danil 'molodoy' Golubenko posted a 24-26 K-D, ADR 62.5, KAST 68.9% and a 1.03 rating.

TYLOO also had notable individual efforts. Qianhao 'Moseyuh' Chen put up a 35-33 K-D with ADR 75.1, KAST 77.8% and a 1.21 rating. Zero finished 31-33 with ADR 74.0, KAST 57.8% and a 1.04 rating. Yi 'JamYoung' Yang was 25-33, ADR 68.1, KAST 68.9% and a 0.97 rating. Dongkai 'Jee' Ji posted a more modest 18-31 line, ADR 47.6, KAST 68.9% and a 0.77 rating, while Jingxiang 'Mercury' Wang was 24-31 with ADR 59.4, KAST 71.1% and a 0.75 rating.

Overall, the fixture highlighted FURIA’s ability to produce decisive moments when under pressure and TYLOO’s capacity for dramatic comebacks, even if those rallies ultimately fell short. The result sets up an interesting upper-bracket clash for FURIA and sends TYLOO into a do-or-die lower-bracket match against FaZe.
