Virtus.pro promotes Dmitriy “ProbleM” Martynov from VP.Prodigy to main CS2 roster as interim coach for several tournaments

Virtus.pro has announced the promotion of Dmitriy Martynov, better known as ProbleM, from the organisation’s youth side VP.Prodigy to serve as a coach for the club’s main CS2 lineup. The move is described as temporary: according to Virtus.pro CEO Nikolay Petrosyan, Martynov will work with the first team for at least several tournaments while the organisation evaluates the arrangement.

Petrosyan remarked that Martynov delivered substantial progress with the young roster throughout 2025. The organisation followed his work closely and praised the way he organised team processes, fostered a healthy atmosphere in the squad and helped young players unlock their potential. The players themselves put forward Martynov’s candidacy, and the club’s management supported their choice by giving him an opportunity to prove himself. The club will assess his impact over the course of several events.

Martynov joined VP.Prodigy in May 2024. Under his guidance the squad participated in a number of online competitions and secured the championship in Myskill Pro League Season 2, among other results, demonstrating notable growth under his leadership.

On the main-team coaching post, Martynov replaces Ivan Kochugov, known in-game as F_1N, who had worked with the Virtus.pro roster from April until November 2025 and ultimately tendered his resignation. The organisation has positioned Martynov’s appointment as an interim solution while it monitors performance and team dynamics over upcoming tournaments.
