Warner Bros. has unveiled a new trailer for the film Wuthering Heights. The studio is positioning the picture as a fresh cinematic take on a classic work of English literature.
The film is an adaptation of the 19th‑century novel of the same name by English writer and poet Emily Brontë. The filmmakers describe their version as a “bold and original reimagining” of the source material. At the heart of the story is the turbulent love between the orphan Heathcliff and the heiress Catherine, a relationship that has driven interpretations of the novel for generations.
Wuthering Heights is scheduled to premiere on February 11, 2026. The leading roles are played by Margot Robbie, known for her work in films such as The Wolf of Wall Street and Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood, and Jacob Elordi, whose recent credits include roles in Frankenstein and Saltburn.
This adaptation aims to bring renewed attention to Brontë’s intense romantic saga, translating its central emotional conflict for contemporary audiences while retaining the novel’s core themes of passion, class, and fate.
