Marvel Entertainment has revealed plans for a new television series titled "Wonder Man." The studio shared official information about the show and its premise ahead of the premiere.
The story follows Simon Williams, an actor who is fighting to win the lead role in a remake of the classic science‑fiction picture "Wonder Man." The project is positioned as an attempt to bring a fresh perspective to the superhero genre. Among Simon's rivals for the part is Trevor Slattery, the character known for posing as the Mandarin in Iron Man 3.
The series is scheduled to debut on January 27, 2026, and will consist of eight episodes.
Leading roles are played by Yahya Abdul‑Mateen II, known for his work on Watchmen and Black Mirror, and Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley, whose credits include Shutter Island and Lucky Number Slevin.
